A compression tee is a device that is used in the construction industry and is a long tube that has a small hole in the middle (where the two sides meet). Inside this small hole, there is a small amount of air pressure, which allows the flow of a liquid through it. This, in turn, creates a very small vacuum that holds the liquid while allowing it to cool. As the vacuum remains constant, the liquid will fill the entire surface area of the tee, reducing the static electricity build-up in the area.
Compression tees are generally used for short pipe repairs, such as in the construction of new long pipes/tubes to an existing one; this reduces the amount of time and money spent on long term pipe maintenance. As a result, you save both time and money, which ultimately makes it cost-effective to utilize.
