Business resiliency refers to the methods a company uses to protect itself from threats that could impact its viability that is a part of overall management planning. It is composed of the functions of risk management, incident management, crisis management and recovery or continuity management. The purpose is to ensure that no matter what crisis or calamity befalls a business it has a plan in place for recovery.
